Beta Raises Money for Camp Sunshine
Beta has a wonderful advisor named Julie Hershkowitz whose family volunteers for a non-profit organization, Camp Sunshine. Camp Sunshine is a retreat in Casco, Maine that serves children living with various life-threatening illnesses. As a fraternity, we came together to create an event to raise money in support for Julie and for this amazing organization. Partnering with Fajitas and ‘Ritas, 20% of every check went directly to Camp Sunshine. We also took this as an opportunity to welcome the Panhellenic community to a fundraising competition with the sorority who raised the most money winning a free social with us. After a whole week of fundraising and individual donations, we raised almost $400 for Camp Sunshine! Sigma Sigma Sigma was also announced the winners of the Panhellenic Challenge! Thank you all for coming out this week and supporting Camp Sunshine.
